Building a safe 'Ohana
The 2023 wildfires on Maui changed us all. As we recover, we look for our government, utility, and community members to come together and build stronger for our future generations. Our experience drove us to create 'Ohana Ready, with a goal to make every 'Ohana ready.
The mission of 'Ohana Ready is to educate our community members in sustainable living practices in order to empower them to provide for their families during good times and bad. Through our fundraising efforts we aim to provide products and services that will help every household be ready for emergencies. Our farm serves as a classroom where we conduct workshops teaching essential skills such as gardening, orcharding, animal husbandry, composting, rainwater harvesting, hunting, and emergency preparedness.
We all bring something to the table. What we need to survive is right in front of us. Mother nature and each other. Your donations help more people get access to information and services. Thanks for your generosity. Let's grow our 'Ohana.
